Drystone Chambers Ahmed Muen secures the only acquittal in a 7 week people smuggling trial at Birmingham Crown Court.  The case, which was investigated by the National Crime Agency, alleged an organised criminal gang were responsible for smuggling migrants across the channel on freight trains and then into the midlands. A wide ranging conspiracy with members all over Europe and the Middle East all involved in the operation.
