The following article by POCA specialist Barnaby Hone covers Section 22 applications in the light of the current pandemic. The current situation means that we are likely to suffer a large economic downturn, which will have a direct effect on the majority of section 22 applications, as the value of the assets which were subject to the application will have decreased. This article deals with the effect of the current crisis and summarizes some of the other grounds for challenging a section 22 application.
