REBECCA PENFOLD SUCCESSFUL IN IRAQI ASYLUM APPEAL
23 February 2018
Rebecca Penfold recently acted for an Appellant before the First-Tier Tribunal on an asylum appeal. The Appellant is a national of Iraq and sought asylum on the basis that he feared persecution by both state actors and non-state actors and was unable to relocate within Iraq. The SSHD refused the claim, and duly contested the appeal on every element bar nationality. The Immigration Judge found favour with the Appellant's case and allowed the appeal. Rebecca was instructed by Cecilia Goodwin of Stephensons Solicitors.
