Richard Davies recently concluded a month long trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court which involved six defendants. The case focused on two groups; one group based in London and the other in Cambridgeshire, who were accused of conspiring to supply Class A drugs. Mr Davies represented one of the London group who was accused of transferring thousands of pounds, which were alleged to be proceeds of the drug trade. The trial included police surveillance, forensics and over 60,000 pages of telephone evidence. The jury deliberated for two days before returning a unanimous not guilty verdict for Mr Davies' client.
