Robert Bryan successfully leads Prosecution Team in harrowing sexual assault case

A particularly harrowing and distressing rape case finally ended at Southampton Crown Court yesterday with the sentencing of the two attackers. The Prosecution Team, led by Drystone Chambers’ Robert Bryan, had to tread a very difficult and sensitive path as the victim suspected that something had happened to her, but had no idea what nor that the two men had filmed their grotesque actions. Protecting her dignity throughout the Trial was a key consideration for the Prosecution in circumstances, as the Judge commented, they used her for their own sexual amusement.
