8 November 2018
William Carter and Edward Renvoize recently concluded the successful prosecution of a gang who stole jewellery, cash, cars and guns worth a total of £2 million across five counties in 2017. In Court, William Carter said the "prolific criminal gang" broke into homes and businesses and stole cash machines across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.
The burglary rate in Norfolk halved when the gang, aged 20 to 55, was arrested in December, police said. Det Insp Mick Roxby commented: “This gang were responsible for an unprecedented number of burglaries across our county and had no regard for the people they targeted in such a ruthless way.
