The Court of Appeal gives further guidance on how to approach the issue of genuine consent. Lord Justice Holroyde, sitting with Mrs Justice May and Mr Justice Goose concluded that it is not necessary for the Prosecution to show ‘grooming’ what matters is the particular evidential situation in the case.
