Drystone Chambers is delighted to join the elite companies that sponsor Ian Rivers on his epic, fundraising attempt to row across the Atlantic, single handed.

We all wish him safe passage in the weeks ahead.

Driving Ian through his challenge is the need to support the work of the charities which have inspired him.

Whilst society is learning how to address mental health more openly, how to secure that healthcare is far less obvious, particularly if it concerns those who do not talk freely about their problems. The Sentinel project will go a long way to addressing this important issue.

At the same time, we all realise the pressing need for quality hospice care. The importance of giving proper comfort and dignity to the dying and their families cannot be overstated.

So, as Ian crosses that angry or that glimmering sea, spare him a thought and give him your support.
