Amie Harris

As Senior Practice Manager, Amie works closely with members to develop their practices, identify new opportunities and support their longer-term career aspirations. She takes a proactive and individual approach to practice management, combining commercial awareness with an understanding of the demands and pressures of life at the Bar.

Amie also develops and maintains key client relationships, contributes to Chambers’ business development and strategic objectives, and provides leadership and support to the clerking team.

Prior to joining Drystone Chambers in 2021, Amie worked in solicitors’ firms for 22 years. During this time, she qualified as an Accredited Police Station Representative and gained extensive experience preparing and managing cases within Crown Court departments. This breadth of practical legal experience provides her with a strong understanding of case progression, client care, and the operational demands of practice management.
