Steve McCarthy has almost 30 years’ experience as a Barristers Clerk, most of which has been gained at One Paper Buildings and then at Drystone Chambers.

He was promoted to First Junior Clerk in 2002 and appointed Senior Practice Manager in 2018.  His role includes a hands on approach looking after Chambers’ clients and Members of Chambers.  He is a well-liked and respected member of the clerking team and has recently been praised in Legal 500 2023.
