Steve McCarthy

Steve has over 30 years of experience in the clerking profession, spending much of his career at One Paper Buildings before the set merged with Dyers Chambers in 2015 to create Drystone Chambers.

As Senior Practice Manager, he is recognised for his personable style, steady leadership, and thoughtful approach to the demands of modern practice. Colleagues and clients alike value his measured guidance and his ability to find practical solutions, drawing on both his extensive experience and wide professional network.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys hiking in the countryside, practising meditation, and reading about personal growth. When time allows, he also plays golf – though he modestly admits his game leaves room for improvement.
