This coming Saturday, 19th October, the Bar Council hosts its annual Pupillage Fair, an event which has become a ‘must attend’ event for law students and aspiring barristers. Drystone Chambers is delighted to be exhibiting at the Fair and we can be found on stand number 53 so do please visit us.

In anticipation of this invaluable event, we have asked our pupils and most junior tenants to write a short story about their experiences in their journey to pupillage, highlighting some of the hurdles they had to overcome to reach their goal ultimate goal of securing pupillage. The journey is often not an easy one, and as you will see from these informative articles, there is a consistent message ‘don’t give up’!

One of our junior tenants, Alex Shanks, shares his experiences of the realities of undertaking pupillage at the criminal bar.
