Prior to joining Chambers, Merillie worked for the Legal Aid Agency for 20 years predominantly in the criminal department, but with sojourns into the Auditing and Investigations teams. Latterly she worked in the AGFS team. Upon taking voluntary redundancy she became a fees clerk for chambers; Gamekeeper turned Poacher if you will.
