Drystone Chambers is the Chambers of Allison Summers KC. We are a Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners ranked criminal set based in London with high levels of work in London and on circuit. If you live on the Midland, South Eastern or Western circuits and seek to practice on circuit, we are perfectly placed to help you achieve this.
Applicants will have successfully completed, or be about to complete their pupillage but who have yet to secure tenancy.
We seek applications from barristers who have a genuine passion for criminal work and the necessary energy and commitment to succeed at the criminal bar.

You will also have the opportunity to undertake local authority prosecution work – we are one of only 5 criminal sets appointed Panel Membership of the LBLA (London Borough’s Legal Alliance – over 25 Local Authorities) for Criminal Litigation/Prosecutions. We received by far, the highest spend out of the criminal panel chambers during 2021. If local authority prosecution work is of interest, we have the framework in place to help you develop this area of work
