Richard Davies obtains not guilty verdicts for a defendant in respect of his alleged involvement in a conspiracy to supply 1kg of heroin and cocaine after a six-day trial at Isleworth Crown Court

Richard’s client was unanimously acquitted following four hours of deliberations. The crown alleged that the defendant played a key role, in conjunction with others, in concealing and transporting 1kg of heroin and cocaine.

The case involved bad character evidence and Section 78, PACE issues.

The crown relied on expert analysis of alleged drug related slang in the context of telephone messages.
