Lucy Blue

Call 2024

Prior to starting pupillage Lucy worked as a legal assistant at Shentons Solicitors, where she gained her police station qualification. This allowed her to advise and assist people being interviewed at the police station. Since gaining this qualification, Lucy has advised on countless matters from public order act offences to conspiracy to murder.

Lucy then moved to a new role at TBJ solicitors, where she helped oversee the case progression of more than 100 Crown and Magistrate court files. She worked closely with counsel assisting in drafting various legal applications, as well as preparing briefs and proofs of evidence. Lucy has also worked with and instructed numerous expert witnesses.

This new role also allowed Lucy to use her police qualification to advise military personnel prior to their naval police interviews.
