Robert Bryan represents defendant in tragic fatal road traffic case

18 December 2025

In this terribly sad case, Robert Bryan represented a 24-year-old driver who at night on a pitch black A-road overtook vehicles into the path of an oncoming motorcyclist killing him instantly. Following an early Guilty plea the case centred on the presentation of mitigation (both personal and regarding the offence) seeking to keep the custodial sentence to a minimum.

The defendant received a custodial sentence of three years and six months at Sheffield Crown Court.
